Micky has volunteered in Parkway Village for the last four years as our Crime Watch Coordinator and served as committee chair of our National Night Out. She moved to Parkway Village 10 years ago with her children, Brian and Michelle, but is now an empty nester. Micky holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Education degree from the University of Cincinnati. After 29 years she retired in November 2007 from her position as Senior Consultant of Gifted Education in Richardson — she is also a member of the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented. Micky’s love of children led her to serve as State Director of Texas Destination ImagiNation, a creative problem-solving program for youth. She was elected chair of Precinct 132, and you may recognize Micky when you vote at Mitchell Elementary where she has served as an Alternate Judge and Clerk for four years. Her enthusiasm for our neighbors and commitment to Parkway Village is displayed by her continued interest in our neighborhood’s safety and environment.
